(1) There shall be an Executive Committee as follows for the purpose of carrying out the work of the Board –
(a) Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation or Minister of State – Chairman (b) Appointed by the Government of Nepal – Co-Chairman
(c) Chairman, National Co-operative Union – Member
(d) Governor of Nepal Rashtra Bank – Member (e) Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member (f) Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply – Member
(g) ……………………………………….
(h) Secretary, Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation – Member
(i) Secretary, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration – Member
(j) Representative, National Planning Commission – Member
(k) Registrar, Co-operative Department – ​​Member
(l) Two members elected by the presidents of the Central Cooperative Union from among themselves (d) Seven members nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the cooperatives or social activists of the seven provinces (d) One person from women cooperative workers - member
(n) Two members from the experts in the respective subject (p) General Manager, Agricultural Development Bank – Member
(th) Person designated by the Government of Nepal - Member - Secretary
(2) Members as per clause (d) and (n) of sub-section (1) shall be nominated by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of the committee.
(3) The term of office of the members under clauses (l), (d), (d) and (n) of sub-section (1) shall be two years.
(4) The Government of Nepal may change the members of the committee by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette on the recommendation of the committee with reasons.
